Attack the Moon

12 Oct

moon

Sounds a little unfair to the moon, if you ask me. The moon has generally been a friend of love. Not to mention werewolves. Sometimes love and werewolves together.

Unlike an increasing number of characters on Mad Men who deserve to be fed to werewolves. Seriously, why’s it getting so rapey over there? That Don Draper sure is “enduringly captivating“!

Seriously, what has US got against moon? They even celebrated the Nobel Peace Prize by bombing the moon.

Wow, Mad Men sounds so soap-operaish (or pornish, speaking strictly from a storyline perspective — i.e. everyone’s cheating on everyone else and busy getting in and out of *things* e.g. offices/apartments/cabs/clothes/couches/beds/body-parts… “rapey” sounds about right). Thankfully, my TV-show watching is limited to re-runs of ’90s sitcoms.

Speaking of “Attack the Moon,” it sure was fun watching Zellweger and McGregor do it (with a telescope) in Down with Love — a send up of the ’60s sex comedies that I caught last night. A better use of the split screen, I have yet to see!!

Pitu – they have quite a few funnies at that Buzzfeed link.

Sudharshan – no no, you, me and a couple of million other folk. I love it so. I’ve never been so fond of a bunch of homophobic, misogynistic, rapey, adulterous, emotionally retarded people.

Amey – but that’s the best part about winning the Peace Prize! šŸ˜€

LT – awww, that movie’s one of my guilty crushes! It fails a lot more than it gets it right, but it kinda grew on me. And Mad Men is really quite good! You should check it out online to see if it grows on you!
