Dear John McCain

04 Mar

What's all the fuss about?

Seriously! What's all the fuss about people?

I am intrigued:

“$650,000 for beaver management in North Carolina and Mississippi – how does one manage a beaver?”

I hope you’ll tweet the answer too.

Yup. That's kinda how women feel too.

Yup. THAT.

When you post photos like this I get pasty, white, wrinkly nightmares. Why o why o why o why o why.

Did you follow all his tweets? I’m quite impressed with the old man actually. Or do you think someone is ghost-tweeting for him like the guy who ghost-writes AB’s blog?
What? Who me? I didn’t say anything.

Okay, so here’s probably what happens at the McCain household:

Mrs. McCain>> John, I’m worried about the Beaver.

Mr. McCain>> You know what, given our age difference, so am I.

    Sorry, couldn’t resist 😀

Beaver Management. I thought it was the Shri Ram Sene that had THAT on their agenda? And with $650,000, they could even throw in a phallic statue of Muthalik into the bargain. Neat!

    Et tu, John McCain?

I think they mean beaver extermination but just don’t want the PETA people on their tail. No? Beavers do create a lot of havoc, here though. Just waiting for the stories to surface during cherry blossom season here.

Actually Andrew Sullivan(who Amrita cites in the post) got a letter from a reader clarifying what Beaver Management meant and why it’s important.

“But anyway, all the stuff about burdening future generations is pure hypocrisy. The tax cuts in the DeMint amendment, which was supported by 36 Republicans — including McCain, the self–proclaimed opponent of “generational theft” — would have cost $3.1 trillion over the next 10 years. That’s four times as much as the Obama stimulus.”

any reason to get on the soap box.. just a picture of Mcain is enough 🙂

Girlonthebridge – TOO LATE!!! I know what you do when you’re not here! Hawwww! 😀
And no, I don’t follow his tweets – Andrew Sullivan who has a couple of assistants does however and I let him do the dirty work.

Pitu – he’s like a less awesome Victor from Underworld, isn’t he?

Ramsu – thanks, now i need to go wash off the vomit in my mouth.

Prasanth – ah, fellow Daily Dish-er, I see. I’ve actually missed out on South Park for the past year. Should really get back on it.

MGM – ahahahha! Except for the statue part… EWWWWWWWWWW!

Suj – like Prasanth says, they just want to clear the dams and things so the houses don’t flood nearby. Which apparently is something nobody should care about. Like Volcanoes.

Gagan – liberals represent!! 😀 I would like to think beavers are sacrosanct everywhere!
