With all the iPhone madness going on, I thought the time was ripe to go back – all the way to 1984 when it all began. Above is the iconic 1984 ad that ran during the Super Bowl. I didn’t see it and if I had, I wouldn’t remember it because I was a toddler. But plenty of people remember it. It’s influence has been so enormous, it even rates a separate Wiki entry.
Then there’s the above, the Dove “Evolution Ad”. If you haven’t heard of it before or seen it, you should definitely check it out. Not only is it well made, but it makes a good point. You can find more like these on Youtube – just type “Dove Ad”.
And here’s Nicole Kidman paying off her Oscar gown. What was that about “evolution” again? Heh.
Honda creates what must be the most painstaking ad ever. “Isn’t it nice when things just…work?” Indeed.
This one was all over the net a while back. It’s for a Swedish company that makes toilets. And I kept meaning to post it because A) it’s hilarious B) it brings back memories of certain people in certain places.
